Lapis Lazuli – The Semi-Precious Birthstone for September.

This gemstone has been highly valued by ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks, who believed that it possessed mystical powers.

When I look at Lapis Lazuli, its various hues remind me of the colours you see when you look at those old photos of Earth taken from Apollo 17 in 1972.
It features mid to deep blue colour with flicks of white and a metallic brassy, yellow. (Calcite & Pyrite)
